¿Existe un día para reconocer el papel de las familias en la sociedad? Pero, ¿qué es una familia? ¿De qué hablamos cuando decimos “Diversidad Familiar”? ¿Cómo podemos abordar este tema en las aulas?
Desde que en 1993 la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas lo proclamara en su resolución 47/237, cada 15 de Mayo se celebra el Día Internacional de la Familia.
Este día pretende concienciar a la sociedad sobre el papel tan importante que juegan las familias en la educación de las personas en edad infantil. Además, y debido a la evolución y cambio social, también está sirviendo para visibilizar que como en cualquier ámbito de la vida, la diversidad también está presente en torno al concepto FAMILIA.
¿Qué dice la RAE?
Según la Real Academia de la Lengua Española, el concepto FAMILIA hace referencia a lo siguiente:
“Grupo de personas emparentadas entre sí que viven juntas”
Diccionario de la Lengua Española.
Se trata de una definición clara y concisa. En ningún momento se menciona que la unidad familiar deba estar constituida únicamente por una pareja formada por un hombre y una mujer.
Entonces, ¿Por qué estamos dejando fuera a nivel social a tantas otras unidades familiares? ¿Por qué no hay una mayor visibilidad de otro tipo de unidades en los libros de texto? ¿Por qué no se hace mayor hincapié en crear conciencia respecto a la Diversidad Familiar?
Aunque cada vez existe una mayor cantidad de materiales respecto a la Diversidad Familiar, principalmente en la literatura infantojuvenil, es de sobra conocido que como docentes debemos hacer un poquito más.
Para ayudarte en esta tarea, hemos creado dos juegos interactivos que nos ayuden a visibilizar diferentes modelos familiares y concienciar sobre la Diversidad Familiar en las aulas, y por supuesto ¡también en casa!
¿A qué vamos a jugar?
- MEMORY DE LAS FAMILIAS: el primer juego que te presento es una adaptación del clásico juego de mesa “Memory”. En este juego, la persona deberá encontrar las diferentes parejas de familias, con dos niveles de dificultad.
- RULETA DIBUJA – FAMILIAS: el segundo juego se ha puesto muy de moda en los últimos días en redes sociales, y no queríamos dejar pasar la oportunidad de aprender a elaborar este recurso y ofrecéroslo. Se trata de una ruleta repleta de personajes para que a través de un número determinado de tiradas, puedas dibujar diferentes familias.
